My name is Denise LaPrairie and I am an experienced professional educator  with over 30 years of teaching experience, I love living on the Northshore, I love being close to my family and friends and take in everything this great community has to offer. I am committed to delivering exceptional tutoring service, I specialize in academic skills improvement through personalized tutoring. I enjoy getting to know my clients because creating a meaningful personal and professional relationship is very important to me and one that builds trust. I work closely with my clients on the North Shore and work deligently to understand the needs of my clients and provide tailored solutions that exceed their expectations. 

Qualifications

• Strong expertise Teaching, Tutoring, in Math and English as well as several other curriculum subject areas. 
• Proficiency in English Grammar and ability to guide students in improving their language skills.
• Excellent Communication skills to effectively engage and support learners individually and in small groups.
• Experience in creating engaging and adaptive learning activities.
• A passion for teaching and empowering students to succeed.
• Teaching certification, 31 years of experience in teaching young students, adults and university courses for the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia
• Earned my B.Ed. and M.Ed. from the University of British Columbia.
